Freestyle libre 2 erratic disconnections and sensor failures

The attached screenshot illustrates 2 of my problems with the sensors.

The first is frequent sensor failures before the end of 14 days. This has increased recently - probably 6 over the last 5 months. Abbott are ok replacing them, but it is becoming frustrating because I have to carry a spare sensor or resort to finger prick tests.

The second is outages - ie big gaps where no readings are provided either automatically or by scanning the sensor.

I use the LibreLink app on a compatible Android phone (Samsung A32). I also use a Garmin widget to transfer readings to my smart watch - very useful when exercising (cycling, rowing and skiing).

Is anyone else experiencing similar issues?

When BG is changing very quickly, like in your graph, Libre does not give data.
This is a safety measure, because Libre runs a little behind blood (because the interstitial fluid it measures does), it can't tell you where you are when fluctuating wildly. So it tells you nothing, which is better than giving you a number that may be completely wrong by now.
When rising or dropping this fast, it's always better to rely on a fingerprick.

Thanks for your thoughts. I don't accept the idea that the sensor stops providing readings when the BG level is changing rapidly. I've attached two more screenshots. One has continous readings the other has significant gaps, but both are of a similar shape.
