Freestyle libre 2 new sensor

I've got a new sensor delivered today but my last one still has 5 days remaining onit? It came off my arm and I had to order a new one! Will it restart when I scan the new sensor?

No, it will come up with a message asking if you want to start a new sensor as this will end the current sensor (or something similar to this).
