Freestyle Libre 3 on android watch?

I am (at this point) absolutely loathing Abbott. I'm in the UK where you can only get a Freestyle 3 sensor if you win the NHS Postcode lottery. I managed to get one for my daughter (14) from the USA by using Stackry. Little did I know that Abbott are diabolical. There may be a Libre 3 app in the app store but it's the GB version and guess what - it won't activate a sensor from the USA.

Apple will not let you change country easily. I think it involves blood sacrifice and selling your soul to the spirit of Steve Jobs.
So I thought to meself - I will use my android phone. Found the APK for Libre 3 US and installed it - Abbott have put a bit of code in that stops it working if it hasn't been downloaded from the App Store.

Next step - I cranked up an old Android Pixel 2, and after installing a VPN, creating multiple google accounts and linking to my Paypal with USD added, I finally managed to get the US version of Libre 3 downloaded and working. Of course - Abbott have locked it so I have to look at stupid USA units.

Comparison - I tried out a Dexcom G7 just by buying one from Dexcom.

I now loathe Abbott more than it I ever thought it possible to loathe a tech company.
