I injured my knee playing football back in May and it hasn't healed up so went to the specialist today (I've got private medical insurance) and he said I've most likely got a lateral meniscus tear and I'm having an MRI scan this afternoon to confirm.
Unfortunately, I have to remove my Libre sensor which is a bit frustrating because I only put it on on Friday so it's the best part of £50 down the drain: I didn't expect to have an MRI so quick otherwise I wouldn't have put it on!
Guess I shouldn't complain about getting it done quickly (I think the reason is he wants to see me next week as he's on holiday after that), but it's worth bearing in mind that you can't keep a sensor on for an MRI (which makes sense if you think about it) and plan accordingly if you have a bit more notice
