Freestyle Libre Inaccurate Readings

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has the same problem with the Freestyle Libre sensor and can offer any possible solution!

I've been using the libre for about 2 years now and it has been relatively successful - however, over the last 2 months I've been having huge problems being:

- The disparity between the libre readings and my GluNeo finger prick is ridiculuous
- This has been over the last 3 sensors now - I've been reading Lo on the libre yet on the GluNeo it's been anything from 4.0 to 8.0.
- I'm often finding now that the readings are 9 times out of ten at least 3.0mmol/L out - even after the 15 minutes catch up gap.
- When I scan on my phone it is often 1.5mmol/L higher than the libre!

I've contacted libre and they are sending 2 new sensors to me after reporting the old ones to be faulty, however, could this be the positioning on my arm that is causing this? Or is it a problem with the libre reader?

Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated!

The stand out in your post for mr is the difference between phone app and reader. They should, obviously, be identical. Has your reader been updated with the latest software? It is done from the Libre website. And your phone app is that the latest?

There have been a couple of posts on here IIRC about discrepancies when the versions are out of step.
