Just got an invite to purchase Freestyle Libre. It's only been around 6 months since I subscribed and 4.5 months since I purchased a Dexcom.
And now after 6 months, they say I have to make the purchase within 7 days!
I think I'll tell them where they can stick their sensor.

They are ****. I ordered sensors over 2 weeks ago and they have not arrived. One cannot buy more than 2 sensors at a time.

They apparently have increased production, yet the order I placed yesterday is on hold. They have ten days to get the things to me before I have none left.

From being on the Libre for over a year and now to finger pricking again..... its the worst week for me in all this time. Im so reliant on the arrows and insights. My levels have not dropped below 12!

i placed my last order on the 29 November. Today is the 8th and no news at all. Abbott really are ****. I wish Dexcom would offer theirs for the same price. They'd make a fortune and Im sure half of Abbotts clients would switch

I just got my invite to order next week, I'm really looking forward to having the readings and being able to have the insight in to what's happening. over a period of time. and not just a snap shot of my BG

I am in exactly the same position. My Girlfriend registered on my behalf in April, received the email this week but I bought the Dexcom about 4 weeks ago. It is the best decision I have ever made (along with purchasing "think like a pancreas" and "sugar surfing") and have no intention of buying the Libre now.

o well not a good place to be freestyle user
but he goes my user thoughts of 2 of the sensors libra 1 used in july and 1 in oct all ok ,used it to get overnight to basel insulin rates near a best i can .done that fine.
also on a recent car drive of over 100 mile miles great on given me confidence to drive as i can check as i drive and lets me know when to stop and take a snack , or if it is going up to fast and need insulin to bring back down but very very steady changes when driving
but yes this a very costly item about £3=50 per day over a 14 day test period pity they cannot get a needle inserted that can be used time and again .....
but the print out given to the hospital very good ....
but myself good item can used with shower fit and forget no scares tought to get off ..
if i won the lotto /lottery ... use every day to keep good levels of blood sugar also used with an insight pump in tandem .and both machines gave results within 1.2 /2 one odd result.
thats me 100 % ok with it libre like me i use steel needles you can keep teflon /nylon
well that my rant over,,,
to the forum merry xmas yes and santa need s a chimney ?????

I've had my Libre for three days now and it is going really well.
I tried a Dexcom 3 a few years ago and just didn't get on with it. It wouldn't stay stuck and I think 3 or 4 days was the most I got from a sensor which was definitely not cost effective. I don't know if this has improved.
So far there is no sign of the Libre adhesive failing and I'm finding the results very consistent.
I use a Spirit Combo pump at the moment which I really love. Hoping to upgrade soon.
