Freestyle Libre Question

Hello!

My doctors are pushing for my to get the freestyle libre and I am considering it, however the thought I hate the thought of it going into my arm. I have a huge insecurity with my arms, so having the sensor in it, gives me really bad anxiety. Wondering if it’s possible to put it in my thigh? And if anyone has done this and if so, have they had any problems with it?

Unfortunately Libre is only licensed for arms. To be fair you forget they are there. Dexcom 1 can be put on abdomen. The fact the doctors are pushing you to go on the Libre, they could easily prescribe this instead. Type 1s are eligible for either. Just a thought
