Hi I’ve been having trouble with randomly falling asleep/ blurry vision and the only way to stop it is to eat something sweet. I have had two diabetes tests and have been told everything is fine yet I’m still having blurry vision and then falling asleep or passing out not sure what it is. Thought I’d post my results to see what u all think. Thanks IMG_1674754819.142555.jpgIMG_1674754840.276049.jpgIMG_1674754848.359861.jpgIMG_1674754857.752852.jpgIMG_1674754882.998519.jpgIMG_1674754944.146806.jpgIMG_1674754958.415174.jpgIMG_1674754996.669371.jpg

There’s quite a few days where the readings are red. I’ve only recently been diagnosed myself last October. Have you had any other symptoms?

Everything tastes like sugar. Thirst extreme dry mouth. Weakness. Flashing vision. Constantly getting urine infections. Restless legs. Up down emotions

Quite a few people kept telling me I looked like I was losing weight and I was eating a lot but not putting on any weight. I even tried changing my diet, my mood changed and I was drinking a bit more but I didn’t really think about it at the time. It got to the point where I actually collapsed at home and I was taken to hospital. I was taken into ICU and apparently my bloody sugar was in the 40s that they didn’t think I would make it. I found out I was a Type 1 and am now injecting insulin 4 times a day.

Try and stick with the 4 staple food which are bread, potato, rice and pasta. See if eating that makes a difference to your readings.

What explanation did they give for you going to just above 3mmol/l 3 hours into a glucose tolerance test ?

Did you check those red readings with a glucometer (not the official tests I mean, the ones from your libre)? Edit: also, are you on medication or diet only?

Hi,

Welcome to the forum.

Can you provide a screenshot of the “daily patterns” from your librelink app.?

Forum rules are no one can diagnose. But if you have had a fine A1c feedback.

I’m personally not understanding the concern..

There is also a few amber readings going high looking at those readings they seem ok but the red ones are quite low show your doctor and see what they think take care

Given the accuracy of a CGM at low values, unless they were checked with a finger prick, those red readings could well be red herrings., especially when you consider it is not uncommon for people without diabetes treated with insulin to go below 4.0. This value is used as an indicator of hypos to provide a little bit of a leeway for "real" hypos.
Likewise, Libre is less accurate at higher numbers so, again the "oranges" could be red herrings, especially given the short time period.
And, I agree with @Jaylee : it is much easier to understand the Libre readings via the graphs. Reading the numbers, I am plotting a graph in my head. It took me a while to realise that the repeated red section was only 6 minutes.
