I forget which thread it was on but a pharmacist was saying how the FS Libre sensors are available to pharmacies at £35. A £15 pounds saving is not to be sniffed at and my local Boots confirmed that price. Just one small problem . . . . . . . the middle men. My local Boots would have to charge me £47.50, so long as I have a private prescription. I wonder if all pharmacies would charge the same mark up? I haven't asked what my GP will charge for writing a private prescription required to obtain the sensor from the pharmacy, her staff didn't know and I will ask her at my next appointment next Monday. I think I shall write to this lady.
Note her right arm, just below the sleeve. I don't care if she wears £1,000 leather trousers (disgusting shade of brown, I wasn't jealous) but I feel different about the sensor for some reason. Hopefully it isn't a Photoshop job. Whilst I fully understand that the money just isn't there, it doesn't mean that I'm happy about it.
