Freestyle Libre six month trial question (UK)

Hi all I was wondering for anyone in the UK, I have been offered the freestyle libre six month trial from my specialist I was wondering will the sensors be added to my prescription or will I have to pay for them? Surely they would be on my prescription for the six months right?

Yes, they'll be on your prescription.

The will write to your gp asking them to add 6 months worth to your prescription

When you take the trail you will sign paperwork that you agree to do certain things.. like scan enough.. reduce hca1c etc... if you do that and they agree you can keep the libre then they will advise your gp to keep the prescription going
