I'm really interested in getting one but seen quite a few problematic posts. After some reviews.

Advantages, disadvantages. Would you recommend? Worth the money?

Have a search through the forum. We have had several threads on this. Probably the best one has about 200+ pages, so LOTS of discussion and info. Can't really summarise it for you... sorry.

Hello. The Freestyle Libre changed my life. I am 46 and have been Type 1 for 16 years. I am busy, disorganised and had so-so control. This device allows me to check my glucose so easily and painlessly 50 times a day if needs be. The monitor is about half the size of my mobile and much lighter, and the sensor so light I cannot even feel it's there. For my future health it is the best investment I have ever made. Lots of graphs and statistics too, if you're into that (it really is interesting). Watch that average glucose level go down- you're in control! It does feel good to get some understanding of what causes the spikes and it's possible to 'micro manange' these. Quick delivery, great customer service...I could go on. Any specific question, please just ask. There are literally no disadvantages. All the best, Maude.
