Do you know if you are going to get Libre 1 or Libre 2?

I have been using it for last 8 days (basically with the current Libre 2 sensor) and it really is very close to finger prick results especially once you activate the calibration in the app and it gets the readings from Libre2 itself without having to scan all the time although you do need to scan when it loses connection.

Sorry to be picky - why the advice not to connect to it for 24 hours? If it is inacurate for 24 hours I can understand that and will not pay too much attention to it. Or is there another reason to leave it alone for 24 hours?

Can I suggest you count the amount of carbs in each meal for the next several weeks and finger prick before and two hours after eating including snacks eg crisps. Keep a record so you will know which meals spike more than 2. Its better to avoid snacks if you can so the window of not eating is longer. Lots of info about carb counting on Diet Doctor website. Fruit high carb except for berries. I have only used Libre to look at trends eg useful after my Covid vac to keep an eye on things. Good luck if you stick to low carb you will get there.I just had some Lizzis granola, yoghurt and half a banana earlier. Blood sugar has spiked to 15. Getting mixed info on carbs, looks like there are a number of varieties some which are pretty high
I find this is a reasonable low carb breakfast - doesn't push me up too much. it helps to have something quick to go in the mornings before work...
