Freesytle Libre Wrong levels!

Hello, I'm just wondering if anybody else has experienced the same ...

I was diagnosed in may and they started me with a contour plus blood glucose checker, this was all okay but then they upgraded me to the libre to check my bloods the same was with the finger prick however this is constantly saying I'm 1.8 - 2.7 all the time so I tried the old meter which said i was actually at 5.6 so this worried me wondering which was wrong so I checked my partners levels ( He doesn't have any health issues such as diabetes) & his came up as 1.7 also, I explained this to my nurse who said I must have a dodgey meter so they gave me a new free style libre, I got in checked my levels & on the new one I'm at 1.5 apparently however the contour is showing 9.7 Im just so mad because Ive got all the testing strips now for the libre as its supposed to be the best one & ive been using it for a couple of weeks so im guessing ive been thinking im having hypos having sweet things when really im okay! So does this mean all free style libres are actually wrong?

Has anybody has anything similar happen?

Thanks.

Sorry you are having problems.
I am confused by your comments about the freestyle Libre because this is usually a sensor that you stick on your arm and swipe with the reader (or phone).
Are you using the Libre reader as a blood checker? If so, do you have any test solution to check the meter?
Do you also have a Libre sensor?
Thanks for your reply, I thought this too but they ( the diabetes nurse) told me I can use it to check my glucose levels and also check for Keytones on it by finger pricks. The strips are correct also for it but no I don't have the sensor just the testing strips.

Do you have both glucose and ketone test strips for the Libre reader? If so are you using the ones in blue foil, because if you're using the ones in purple foil what you will be seeing are your ketone levels which may account for those consistently lower readings.

ETA The meter should tell you which type it's testing.

I called the freestyle libre number and they are sending me two new monitors and taking both back as they said it does seem there’s a fault the only thing that I worry about is the serial numbers are completely different so if they’re not from the same batch how many people could possibly be in my situation but just not know because there’s nothing to compare it too, as I had another monitor of a different brand to check.
