Frequent urination ?

I've read this is a common thing for folk with diabetes, should this still continue even when low carb/keto ? Even after i've just been the moment I sit down I feel like I need to go again badly... and this continues through the day.

Any tips on how to resolve this ?.

Could be a symptom of a UTI?
The frequent urination with diabetes is usually connected to high BG, at least for me it went away as soon as my numbers got lower.
There are also medications which make you pee more but I'm guessing you're not on any of them?
Not sure if keto can be connected to it as well, but I expect others to chip in on that. :)

edit: Google suggests keto can make you urinate more frequently so it might be that's the cause. But I'd still keep other causes in mind as well.

I still go very frequently, just not quite as ridiculously frequently as I was going when initially diagnosed. That said, frequent urination has been a reality for me for as long as I can remember.

Keto is known to initially increase frequency as the body flushes out retained water, but that should settle.

I guess if what’s happening is unusual for you it would be worth getting it checked out.

I'd second getting it checked out, as it could be a sign of something else, like a prostate issue, or an irritable bladder, but only a dr can tell you this. (I'm not medically trained).

I never had frequent urination when my BG was high - exactly the reverse - but frequency and volume increased since starting keto and getting back to normal levels. But not as you're describing.

Your issue might not be anything to do with diabetes at all. I would suggest you need a doctor's take on this.

As Hopeful34 pointed out, it could be a prostate issue. Most prostates increase in size as we grow older. This causes no problems for some but can obstruct the urethra in others. The way it affects me it that between 150 - 200 ml of urine can be left in my bladder after I’ve urinated. So I often have the urge to urinate again within 10 minutes. It also affects strength of flow, so I have to wait longer when I do go - there’s a reason old men take a book or the newspaper with them to the toilet, it’s boring just sitting there waiting! :)
If it is a prostate problem, there are medications to help and surgical options too if they aren’t efficacious.

since I use the Re bounder/ Mini trampoline 5 to 10 min a day i don't need to get up at night from 11 pm
to 7 am

I think I found the reason, I had read elsewhere it might be electrolyte imbalance.. So started taking an electrolyte supplement twice a day with meals and since then my urination has returned to normal... possible all those salted meats + water might have been throwing off my other electrolytes.
