I have a deep and long-established dislike of the kinds of banal sentiment, usually accompanied by a saccharine photo of the sunset, or little furry kittens, that tend to get posted on Farcebook and Twitter. However, I've just seen one that expresses the sentiments of friendship in a way that I can really relate to.

Don't get me wrong: we have two (idle, cynical and deceitful) cats who were once furry kittens and I love them dearly - but fluffy and cute, they ain't
