From insulin to tablets

Hi, I'm a type 2 diabetic and on insulin, lantus in the morning and novorapid 3 times a day after meals. Is there any type 2 diabetics here that was at first on insulin then put on tablets instead?

@Wayne18000 Yes, originally I was on tablets (Metformin and Sitagliptin) then put on to insulin (same Lantus and Novorapid as you and rather a lot of it due to severe insulin resistance) then after a few years managed to get myself off of it and the Sitagliptin - and now I just take Metformin.

Are you wanting to stop the insulin?
