Maryam here ...my mother she is 48 years old from 20 years she is suffering from dibetic. Sir/mam but first she on tablets but now she taking f insulin 30/70 pen from last 4 years but the result is similar mean to say she is fail to control sugar level now a days her fasting level os 261 and random is 330 ... and she is also hight blood patient. .. kindly guide me a right way please. .. wiill wait for your reply thank you .. What type of food does your mother eat each day?

Hi and welcome. It sounds like your Mother is having mixed insulin twice a day? If it's possible, she would have better blood sugar control if she is able to go onto two different insulins. This is called Basal/Bolus. The Basal is a 24 hour insulin and the Bolus is just for meals. It means 4 to 5 injections per day but control is much better for meal-time carbs. How many carbs does your Mother have each day? The Asian diet is sometimes very high in carbs which increases blood sugar. If possible try to find a way of reducing the carbs.
