I am a type 2 diabetic. I have had frozen shoulder for the third time. Twice on the left side and once on the right. The pain is not as unbearable at other times, but it spreads to all the neighboring muscles. (around the shoulder joint) How are you treating others and how severe is your illness? Thank you all for the answers

Good morning
Type 1 of 50 years here and funnily enough I've just had surgery on my left shoulder and hydro dilation on my right shoulder.
The left one has been problematic for 3 years hence the surgery and my right one is going the same way as my left.

Good luck

Tony

My sympathy to you as I've had to deal with a few frozen shoulders which also affected my whole arm. Physio only helped to a certain extent and 2 years on I can now move my arm again. Pain killers did not help and caused other problems. It seems to take longer to heal the older I get. At my gym class we do wall presses and I think that has helped.

I'm another looking for suggestions. I have limited mobility in my left shoulder due to a smashed head of humerus 6 years ago - took a year of physio to get to its current pain free state. Until six months ago I had full range of motion in my right arm/shoulder, but now quite limited range of motion and pain that wanders from my wrist to elbow, biceps, neck and scapula. Definitely worse when trying to sleep. I'm about to restart pilates and hoping this will help.
