Frozen shoulder

I'm a type 1 with a frozen shoulder. I had this in my right shoulder 5 years ago and was successfully treated with steroid, salon, antiseptic injection after an MIR. After a year and a half of pain in my left arm I went to the doctors. I was happy to pay to see a consultant but was told it is different now and although the doctor felt I would probably treated the same as 5 years ago, he had to refer me to a group who decide on the treatment. That was two months ago and I have heard nothing from anyone, I have made another appointment in January with my GP but why no contact, is this just delay tactics?

Hi @Long9reach ,

I had frozen shoulder. (Which still nags from time to time.) a few years back? & was just referred to Physio & given a series of home exercises...
This was after being sent to a walk in X-ray appointment at my convenience.. (Which I grabed at the earliest opportunity.)

From memory, letters came through the door within a couple of weeks..

Others may have differing experience..
