juicemaster is a site dedicated to getting people to buy their juicers and books / tapes for weight loss. as a weight loss method it sucks, since it is not sustainable. OK for crash diet i suppose, but crash diets are not a good diabetic idea.
I've used centrifugal juicers and single augers, which are far better:
doesn't burn live enzymes like a centrifuge.
uses 300% less fruit and veg than centrifuge (and i assure you, it GOBBLES up money lol)
I also went veg: cucumber, spinach, kale, no 'bad' veg or fruit. result? blood sugar went mad. becvause you're stripping out the fibre so carbs aren't nett anymore. you've concentrated much higher levels of carb in juice.
The only way to use one as diabetic is <150ml after meal. which is a total waste of time and money, when you can just eat half an apple
Sorry to sound so negative, but i spent months trying to incorporate juicing into diet on diagnosis since i used a lot of green juice before when weight lifting. it just doesn't work.
