Hello everyone,

I'm feeling cheesed off to say the least - I have been trying to get my scores down since my initial blood test back in May 2014. I have cut out a lot of carbs and have been running 10k 3 times a week and am 11 stone but the readings are on the rise now - 6.6 fasting 6.5 post prandial feels like i'm heading only one way...do you think I'm panicking and do they generally ebb and flow and potentially drop down again? I'm new to this and green. Any comments galdly recieved. (Thinking of returning to my old diet see if they come down)

Hello Shaun,

I'm sorry you are struggling, but please don't panic. It is probably your diet that isn't quite right yet. It takes a while to get it spot on, if ever!
Do you keep a food diary and record your levels alongside? Its a good idea to do that so you can keep an eye on things. Don't go back to your old diet - that's what put you there in the first place. Stick with low carb. The latest readings maybe just a blip.
