Fulfil Bars

I'm back on my low carb diet journey and just thought I'd share my discovery of these bars:

https://fulfilnutrition.com/our-range/

I've found them to be a much cheaper and lower carb option than Carb Killa (which I do also like, particularly the 'Birthday Cake' flavour!). The 'Cookies & Cream' bars are only 8.9g of carbs per bar so a good alternative when you fancy a bar to snack on.

:)

I like these too! Have to be careful though - while some of them are made with erythritol, others are made with maltitol. Fine for some I'm sure but maltitol spikes me and gives me tummy trouble! The erythritol ones are good, though. :)

But Carb Killa bars are only 2g impact carbs or less depending on the flavour ;)

Maybe to high carb for some people here but not for everyone and I would eat one for a treat

These bars are ultraprocessed "food" and likely not good for your health:wideyed::sour::grumpy::spitoutdummy::hungover::

soy protein, chocolate with fibres and sweeteners 20% (cocoa mass, dextrin, cocoa butter, sweetener (erythritol, steviol glycosides), inulin, oligofructose, low fat cocoa, emulsifier (soy lecithin), natural flavour), bulking agent (polydextrose), soy crisp (soy protein, low fat cocoa, tapioca starch), white chocolate with fibers and sweeteners 12,4% (cocoa butter, whole milk powder, dextrin, sweetener (erythritol, steviol glycosides), inulin, oligofructose, whey protein (milk), skimmed milk powder, emulsifier (soylecithin), natural flavour, vanilla), humectant (glycerol), gelatine hydrolysate, oligofructose, soy oil, cocoa mass, sunflower oil, flavours, low fat cocoa, vitamins (vitamin C (ascorbic acid), nicotinamide, vitamin E (tocopheryl acetate), calcium pantothenate, vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), vitamin B1 (thiamin hydrochloride), folic acid, vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamine), salt, emulsifier (soy lecithin)

I aim to keep under 50 :)
I'll be blunt..
You did really well then you fell off the wagon spectacularly.. I fear that by eating this sort of thing you'll forever prolong the agonies that come from being a slave to food addictions. I wouldn't advocate eating anything composed of more than one ingredient for at least 2 months while you get back into low carb I 'd also suggest cutting carbs to the barest minimum (green veg, cream, eggs only). The more you eat "low carb" processed foods the more you'll be feeding the very things that made you fail before. I'm sorry if that sounds harsh but I think in your case (and indeed in my own) long term you need to get your diet properly sorted first then maybe think about "treats" after 6 months or so.

Noted but I personally need the odd treat and this sort of bar whilst not ideal, stops me reaching for ‘proper’ chocolate.

I did fall off the wagon but this was more to do with a personal battle with anxiety & depression rather than an outright fail in my diet. In short, whilst suffering from the mental illness I stopped caring about my diet choices.

I hear what you say though and sugar is certainly hugely addictive. It’s taken me about 3 weeks of being back on low carb to fully pass the stage of craving a sugar hit.

I tried a couple of these in a weak moment at the airport last autumn. One small bite of each and straight into the bin - way, way too sweet and very unpleasant taste.

You'd probably be better off having some Lindt 80% chocolate instead.

I was in London yesterday and couldn’t really find a place to eat anything much low carb at the time. My wife and little one were in the souvenir shop and I felt hungry so I grabbed a bar of Lindt dark chocolate.
