funny turn!!?

Hi

i was so pleased to discover Burgen bread agreed with me :D , had that for my lunch with a boiled egg, my bloods went from 8.2 before.... 2 hours after lunch 7!!
and i was feeling good, then out of the blue...felt strange, like faintish but not as if i was going to faint!! if you understand?....come to type and more or less cobble dee gook!! after to keep correcting, eyes a bit strange too,

is this to do with diabtetes? and how so if my numbers are good? so confusing!!
 
Could be a side effect of the medication you are on - are you on lisinopril by any chance?

on diet only!!, and been very good lost 7lb in 10 days.....i have had these turns before, and 1 of the resons i went to the G.Ps...hence the diagnosis of Anemia and diabetes...so no meds...and thanx for the fast reply x
 
I feel quite awkard asking this, but could it be age related - menopause?
 
Hi . I am on lisinopril which I take at night, what does it do ? am going dippier n more n more forgetful daily now, can it do that to you? always tired n achey when BS are high. Definently got short term memory probs n muscle weakness. any ideas? Anna. x
 
What I was referring too was lisonopril making some people prone too light-headedness and funny turns, it's usually why they start people off on the 2.5mg dose and work them up too a more effective dose, unfortunately alot of the time in preventative treatment people will stay on the 2.5mg and not progress and it wont be as effective.

I'm on a 10mg dose of lisonopril and I haven't experienced them symptons - sounds like the side effects of Statins.
 
BPM....dont feel awkward, and you might have a point altho when i told the G.P about it my blood for menapause came back ok...but still 50 and i guess it could be pre menopause
 
Hi, thanks for reply, am on 20mg lisinopril plus simvastatin 40mg often feel "woozy" as I call it [lightheaded] n the preglabalin drug for my neuropathy messes up my ability to remember things quickly. Sometimes get real blank moments! When am scrambling away in my memory for the word name thing I want to say n mind is total blank.... Hate it! Feel permantley knackered somedays too. Am worse when BS are reading high am presently on victoza injections highest dosage 1.8 n BS not yet under control, due to see endocrinologist 1st june to discuss starting on insulin levemir. Anna. x
