Fuzzy eyes

I had a similar problem with my eyes and some sort of mussle issue, at the annual eye test she asked me if id had any operations on my eyes so I told her what I thought id had and that was they popped my eyes out took a bit of mussle out of the strong one and put it back in the week eye, well she looked at me like I was a raving lunatic so I suppose that couldn't have been what they did lol, it seemed reasonable all those years but after the look on her face I guess it isn't, my eyes are evenly bad now hehe im as blind as a bat but wear contacts because glasses don't last very long as a stonemason

anyways hope you get better soon x

Holy moly I hope that's not what they did! I wore a contact (yes, contact, not contacts. I only had one haha) for a couple years but it was so expensive and I was a student. Of course I have to be awkward and have an astigmatism in my rubbish eye and so needed a toric lens at 3 times the price for normal contacts! I have prescription safety glasses for work - very attractive on a female!

My theory is that since my eyes are a bit dodgy anyway I'm more sensitive to the high BG and the temporary affects it can have. No idea if that's a real thing or not though haha

I never had bad eyes until diagnosis, i believe very strongly in the power of our minds after being married to a hypercondriac for so long, so i figure as it didn't come on until i read about it, it was in my mind and it did get better with my bloods, but they were blurry and i know how ****** that is :(

Haha! Unfortunately my sight has been dodgy since birth in one eye so no mind over matter possible there! But the fuzziness in my good eye is definitely BG related and I didn't have it until about a week after diagnosis. It has gotten progressively worse until I've reached the state I'm in now, squinting at screens! Being a spreadsheet monkey it makes work pretty difficult, but at least now I have a real excuse for slacking off ;)

Hi Hale just wanted to say sorry to hear about your fuzzy eyes. I really can't say a lot about it,as you know, mine aren't that great right now, but wishing you all the best and I hope you will try to get some answers on Friday :D

All the best RRB

Saw the consultant today. He agreed that fuzzy eyes were unusual as my spikes don't appear to be large. Hba1c was pretty bang on target so no issues there.

He's sent me for a coeliac test..... Which I'm fairly certain I don't have considering I have no symptoms. So that's helpful of him.

So basically we concluded nothing. Helpful as ever in this area! Oh well. Ill just have to consider it "one of those things" for now!
