I've lost all faith in the GPs to be honest. They refused to see me 2 years ago with on going kidney and urinary tract infections, even as a diabetic unable to eat for over a week. Ended up rushed to A&E and in hospital on a drip with injections of antibiotics to clear it. They do nothing more than repeated blood tests when I go about on exhaustion, pains and aches through my body which have hugely impacted on what used to be an active lifestyle I can no longer lead since recovering from said infections. They brushed off concerns I had over neuropathy in my feet for months, until a specialist in hospital was doing nerve conduction tests on me for carpal tunnel and decided to test my legs when I mentioned my issues, and yes, there was def neuropathy going on. I could rant on, but I'll not bore you!I don't know how easy it is to get to see your podiatrist, but I went straight to the GP who gave me ABs and referred me to the nurse for dressings
No, though I have discovered one Dr within the practise who is more helpful, so will request her from now on!In that case yes... sounds like a better plan.
Any chance to change GPs?
Lol, yes, me too! Thanks. xI hope it turns out to be nothing but a reaction to the verruca treatment , Hooked .
I'm amazed that it was prescribed for you, given your problems with sight and being diabetic
Good luck !
