Im having a GA in July and im on Glimepiride.
Will I need to go on an Insulin drip/Injections whilst under and during the Hospital stay?

HI. When I've had a GA, the hospital just checked my sugar level just before the op and adjusted it to get it at the normal level. I took my tablets as normal throughout. At my last op they checked my sugar every hour during the night after the op; very efficient!

they should discuss your bg control with you at the pre-op check. make sure they do
