Hello, I'm new to the forum. I'm 22 years old, i'm type 1 and have struggled all my life.
I work long hours and feel this really isn't helping. My motivation is lacking.

Hi C E A, Welcome

Have you always struggled to keep good control? do you eat to your injections or inject to your food? I have recently been eating to my injections, eating a very low carb diet and therefore injecting way less, this has really helped my control, it is restrictive but the lack of highs and lows is making me feel its worth it, may be worth a try if you havent? I was diagnosed much later on in life so avoided the nightmare (I assume) of going through school with this, we have some younger members and older members that have been diabetic since very young that can probly empathise re the trials and tribulations of growing up too sweet, please have read of the forum and ask any specific questions you may have.

Hi C E A,

Welcome to the forums.

I'm type 2 so can't really be of much help except to say there are lots of type 1's here that I'm sure will be along soon to offer advice.

Have a read around the forums and I think you may find your motivation is lurking rather than lacking. After all you made the effort to come and join us here to help you find some answers and support. ;)
