Get my pump tomorrow...!

Honestly; 'only D's know' :D

... My friends and family are adorably lovely and they're happy cos I'm so happy... But I know they don't *really* get why I'm just so bonkers happy...!! That's why I *love* this forum... :-) ️
 
Lol at the pink pump :eek: Animas rang me yesterday to break the news no black pumps in stock so did I want a replacement pink or green pump. I said any colour as long as it wasn't pink. Nice lady is going to send me a black skin to hide the green colour though :)

Good.... Thank you @himtoo! I was given two sets to try and *definitely* prefer the silhouettes!! Despite nearly having a fit when I saw the needle.... ;-)

Do you know what which pumps you might be offered / go for after your apt in July?

glad you settling in ok -- must admit I have some apprehension as well as loads of excitement at the prospect.
change does not normally bother me but in D world somehow it does a bit

i have a choice of the Omnipod , Paradigm Veo , or animas Vibe.
first choice is the omnipod because of the tubeless
 
Ah yes, I know tubeless appeals to many :-)

... I actually think I find the tubed more discreet / more options with how to wear it... I got a sample and wore it and I didn't like the idea of it being fixed in one place and being so visible... But may be a girl thing ;-)

... I notice you don't mention Medtronic as an option, does your hospital not do them? I honestly am in love with mine and it's not even doing anything yet...
 
apparently the paradigm veo is a medtronic pump but is about to or has been replaced by the 640

I've got the Veo, would LOVE the 640g but I don't get upgraded for AGES! It might not even be as good as my Veo (even though I know it will be) but it just looks so pretty!!!
