Getting my Dexcom TOMORROW!!!

Hi all!

Just made a payment and got a confirmation that my Dexcom should be delivered tomorrow! Yeeeey!!! I've never been so happy to get a piece of tech and I work in IT and love gadgets Got a sample of skintac and I'm all ready to start using the system!

Yey exciting! I'm so jealous! I want to get the Medtronic CGM but since I've only had the pump a fortnight I'm going to hang on and get used to one bit of tech at a time

Anyone getting a Dex might want their results easily available on their phone, PC, Pad, Mac or someone else's phone (parent etc). If so its available now, go to FB group called CGM in the Cloud. They have written an Android app that takes the Dexcom data and puts in in the cloud for you to download where ever you want . You do need an android phone with data connection, all the details on the FB group, the App itself is free.

Ohhh! Just got the package. Inserted my first sensor... I have no idea if I did that correctly...In the video the woman says after the insertion and pulling the collar back: "make sure the lack is up against the skin"... but mine wasn;t 0_0 Now I see that this is probably about removing the applicator after inserting. Ohoh! I can still feel the spot where the needle went in, it hurts slightly, but I'm guessing it's normal after stabbing yourself with a needle :]

Soo, everything looks good so far, waiting for my 2-hour warm up period to start!
