Hi I'm getting my pump next month, I'm super excited as think this will make a dramatic effect on my poorly controlled diabetes, however I'm really nervous about the stress/work it's going to be getting started, I have 2 young children and my daughter has learning disabilities so each day is different! I secretly hope I've not bitten off more than I can chew!
How did you all fine those first initial weeks/months?! I sit quite high and am dreading feeling 'low' all time when get bk into normal ranges.
Hi.
I got my pump about 4 weeks ago and it's been amazing. I have got a 14 week old baby and it doesn't make any difference at all. My hba1c was 9.1 last time. Things are looking up already.
Will not go back to injections if I get the choice.
It has been for me. First week is tough as you have to get used to a whole new way of diabetes but once you are used to it you will see a big difference.
Animas is where I had to pick which colour I wanted, other than that I have no idea! it's been a long wait to get this, same where I am only done in groups. I think there are 6 of us so at least a few if us in same boat close to each other!
