I'm not one for blowing my own trumpet but I'm so proud of my little self I could burst!
Saw my DN yesterday for check up (Type 2) and I'm chuffed to bits to say my blood results are brilliant. I said when I got diagnosed that I wasn't going to let it beat me yet there were times early on when I was really struggling but I plodded on and picked up some great advice and support from on here. I had support and encouragement from my DN to self test and thankfully she listened when I excelled the virtues of LCHF
So after just over 2 months my Hba1c has come down from 13.2% (120) to 8.6% (71), cholesterol from 9 to 4.2 and my triglycerides down from 13.1 to 2.23.I have been taken off Gliclazide and had Metformin increased which I'm pleased about as I've had a lot of lows on the Gliclazide.
Suck on that diabetes!
