I have been hovering around the 4.5 to 6 all day.

Not experiencing false hypos but struggling with energy. Feel quite empty (eaten tons). Is this normal while getting used to lower numbers?

I don't know but I feel the same. I am going to be tested for iron and B12 deficiency at my next A1c, and a PSA test - not sure of your gender!

Edit - sorry I see you're female! Forgot how to look to your profile!

To be honest Cana, I can't specifically remember. Have you tried just having a cup of tea/coffee, and see how you feel in a little while? It'll likely then be close to time to eat.

I haven’t. Been like it all afternoon.
Cut the grass but just felt like no energy and kept stopping. Not a problem as at home. Determined to get used to these numbers.

Hoping I just need to get used to it

Maybe it is the medication you're taking?

I’ve been on these for past year (well I did drop to half doseage for couple months).
So possibly I guess. Can’t remember it doing that last time although my sugars were so high maybe it masked it

When I feel a bit off (OK, so I have never taken any meds relating to diabetes), I usually have a drink of some sort. A cup of tea, or decaf coffee, or a sugar-free squash or even just some water.

If you’ve just started low carb eating there’s a thing called carb/Keto flu, as your body gets used to having little carbs in the diet.

I’ve drank plenty today. Couple cups of tea and about 1.5 litres of water.

Don’t want to drink too much in case I’m then washing out the salt.

Not really eating anything different to what I have all week so don’t think it’s that.

My dr did say I seem a lot more sensitive to changes in my sugars than most people but doesn’t feel like that

Maybe your just fighting of a slight bug, not enough to make you unwell, but enough that your body’s using a bit more energy than normal. Maybe an early night and plenty of rest tonight.

That’s the plan! Supposed to go out tomorrow but already decided to stay home!
Have been sneezing more than usual last couple of days so may you are right!

@Cana 0 I may have remembered wrongly, but after your recent bloods, didn't your meds increase again, pending your decision on whether to try something new or not?

Yes back to 10mg.
Assuming that’s why everything is so much lower. I’m not doing anything else different
