Great thread everyone ..:bigtears::meh::meh::meh::meh::meh::meh::mask::mask::mask::mask::mask:
Yes I am a firm believer ..
Yes I have seen ... many times ...

I have had insight before things happen ...
And I see dreams in colour , most physic people dream in colour I can describe things before they happen ..That's scary ..
I didn't know people had dreams in black and white ..

Just one small story ..for now ..

I used to for years see a WW1 solider in the garden he was young and always looking at me ..
I used to tell and describe to tomcat .. he knows about my moments ..
Anyway this went on for many years .. I was followed about ..
I say garden because I used to sit in my conservatory at the time and he would always be in the garden looking at me ...
He used to come and go ..

Then about two years ago I found a WW1 solider whilst doing family history
I discovered this young man , who would of been my great uncle , died on the Somme ..
He was 19
I was able to get a photo of him ..
I unearthed his story .. I shared it with various family members ..
After that he went away .. My Harry I refer to him ..
He was brave with medals .. from butchers errand boy to royal field artillery..
He gave his life like so many others ..

I hardly speak of him these days .. but he has moved on .. :)

Now watches and clocks they are interesting in a world we know little about ..
Interesting topics ..
So many experiences ,. X

Sounds like he was watching over you and wanted you to tell his story. I suppose we all fear being forgotten. Great story Kat ;)

My son "read" me today..... He was collecting something from a friend of mine (he'd never been before) and I'd thought of texting him directions to park around the back....I forgot, but thought it twice....when he got there he "knew" where to park and how to get there......at around the same time I was thinking it.....
Yes, I'm sure there's a genetic link with these abilities. I suppose in this particular respect there could potentially be a survival aspect, if one family member was in danger and needed help.
About 50 years ago my dad woke one night in a flat panic, because he'd had a premonition that there was something badly wrong with my brother and I. We were fine, but about three weeks later he had a letter from his brother in Australia to say his daughter (same age as me, and actually called Debra-Anne) had fallen into the family BBQ pit and suffered serious burns.
Yep, it turned out that - allowing for the time difference - it had happened at the exact same time my dad had got his premonition.

It's that time of year again. Usually about now, I'd be dusting off my Tarot cards and lighting candles. But there has been so much chaos, confusion and sorrow in recent months around those nearest and dearest to me, including in my own life, that I'm scared of what I might find. Sometimes it may be better not to know.

Ignorance is bliss as they say. There are certainly things I wish I didn't know.

I guess that's true.....big hugs

Many years ago I worked for a big insurance company as a office/records clerk. Three new buildings were built, two linked by a walkway, the other a separate building, which was to house all staff under one roof from different nearby locations. After everybody had moved in we started to hear tales about the building from the security guards. There desk was situated in the big reception area which had three lifts which took you up to either of the three floorsThey told us that during the night when the buildings were empty and locked, the lifts would suddenly ping, the doors would open then shut and then would go up to whatever floor and back down again. The lifts were checked by lift engineers and they could find nothing wrong with them. It later emerged that when the offices were being built, a workmen died in an accident in one of the liftshafts and the ghost of that workman is what the security guards believe was making the lifts go up and down in the dead of the night.
Also, my ex colleagues and I believed that one of the big rooms we used that stored paper files had a presence. It was a very big room, probably about the quarter of a size of a football pitch. It had very high ceilings, no windows and two doors at either end of the length of it to enter the room, which only could be entered by swiping a card. Inside it was carpeted with lots of 12ft high steel shelved racking which were all storing different sized paper files. Even though this room was heated and the heating was always on full throughout the year, it was always very cold in there. There were twelve of us working in this office and each and every one of us 'felt something' whenever we worked in there (we had three big rooms full of files) and after some time of 'things' happening when we were on our own in there, we decided we'd always go in there in pairs.. Several of us when on our own experienced lights being switched off, which was scary as there were no windows and it was pitch black, ladders and kickstalls being moved and the feeling of someone being there. One lady was on her own in there and heard a noise. When she looked up, at the other end of the room she could see files were being dropped on the floor one at a time with a few seconds in between each one. She ran out and refused to go back in there. A group of other ladies went to look and found these files laying on the floor and the rest of the files on the shelve from where they came from were standing tightly stored and they only way they could of ended up on the floor was if someone had pulled them off the shelve and dropped them. I along with others saw 'someone' in there. One day I was working on my own and out the corner of my eye saw someone walk past but knew I was on my own. I saw it agin at the end of the aisle and it was a woman with long hair and a long flowing skirt, with the skirt catching my eye. I went into the main office and wrote down the image I saw and put the bit of paper in my locker without telling anyone what I had saw. A couple of weeks later, a co-worker came running in shaking like a leaf saying she'd seen a ghost and explained what she saw. It was what I had seen and when I showed them the bit of paper of what I had seen previously that convinced us that there was something there. Little things happened on and off but we were convinced that there was a presence in there.
Sorry it's a bit long!!!

Interesting story...no apology needed for length of post

Now that's what I couldn't understand about the heavy footed runner in my parents house..
Three 300 year old cottages knocked into one big house in 1973? Then around 1993? split into 2 & one half sold off..
On letting myself into the empty building in 94 to drop some band gear off with an ex girlfriend. (I was temparily staying there at the time.) the door upstairs to the end bedroom deliberately slammed & someone was running the full length of three houses upstairs along the back corridor created in 73.. We both heard it & carrying the biggest blunt object I could lay my hands on. (I still had a mic stand in my hand.) we both climbed the stairs & found nothing disturbed...

I actually have an original print, old picture (framed.) of the "haunted pub" I mentioned earlier, taken in the 1940s with every one outside posing for some village carnival fancy dress thing on a cart?
There is a face in one of the windows that don't look right? It appears to be looking through a tear in a curtain.. The strange thing is, the "face" is wearing modern looking "alien gray" style sunglasses..
Ooo er

Monday night I drove home in thick fog, swirly patchy bits (perfect Halloween weather) was kinda scary in places cos even though I drive that route 5 times most weeks I still partially lost my bearings a couple of times....but it's not that I'm writing about really. I've got a dash can that bleeps when it switches on and off....now I set off and it came on OK....kept bleeping so I checked connection...OK....decided that the connection to car might have come loose but I use the rear one and decided I'd check in the morning....flipped the screen down but though it was bleeping was staying on and recording.....weird....
Yesterday I drove to friends and it was only on my return journey, thinking thankful for no fog that I remembered....dash can behaving perfectly....
NOW was it extra moisture in the air....tho heater was on ... and car WAS damp yesterday too OR did I ****** up listening to someone trying to say hello.....

Oooer - that's spooky, especially as this topic is current and it was Hallowe'en!

EXACTLY so mad at myself for not having tried to tune in but the driving was taking a fair bit of concentration....
Yes, probably wise to take care of the driving as a priority, SJ - you don't want to join them just yet!!!!

Has anyone here ever used that popular sleep recording app? It's used primarily to record while you sleep to see if you talk in your sleep but many people have picked up strange voices on the app.

This video discusses a few such cases.
