Giving up sugar was the worst thing I ever did

Well - the message at the end of the article is that it is good to cut down on sugar we eat, but eliminating it altogether is probably unrealistic and not backed by the science - and that becoming obsessed about every tiny amount of sugar is probably not great for your mental health. Which I think is good advice for most people - diabetic (and this article isn't about diabetes) or not.
 
I couldn't finish the article. My first thought was 'Get a grip!' But by halfway down I was thinking that there's a big difference between doing this by choice than by not.
My heart bleeds. Not.
