My doc prescribed me glicazide to go with my canagliflozin. I am not able to tolerate metformin in any of its forms.

The glicazide is doing well getting the BG down, but I feel so sick! I can scarcely even look at food.

I googled glicazide and apparently some people do suffer with nausea while using it.

Has anyone else had this problem with glicazide?

Hi. I felt a bit dodgy on Gliclazide..it lessened after a couple of weeks. I also noticed I was having nightmares. My brother, also diabetic, also had nightmares on it. That is actual nightmares by the way, not metaphorical ones. What I found the Gliclazide wasn't really doing was lowering my blood sugar in any reliable way. I got my levels under control by eating way less carbohydrates. I stopped the Gliclazide and told my doctor I would be trying diet alone to see if it helped. No nightmares, lower blood sugar. Just wondering if you have tried the LCHF dieting?
