Hi I am currently on empagliflozin which works really well for me but i do suffer from permanent thrush from it which i have to take another tablet to counteract this effect. I have had pancreas problems so dr is checking but I may be suitable for the non insulin injection. The thought of not having to take tablets and only having to inject once a week is really promising. Is there anybody else who takes any of these injections and how have you found them?

Non-insulin injectable medication (incretin mimetics)
Hi, I’m on a hormone non-insulin type injection daily for my T2 which I started just over a week ago. I’m finding it ok at the moment but it doubles in dose from Saturday so shall see then. It’s called Lyxumia. I take this with my metformin tablet in the evening but going to speak to the doctor when I see him next to see if I should inject in the morning instead as this is when I used to take my Januvia tablet (which the injection replaced).
Good luck with it all
