Hello, does anyone have an experience using Glucerna milk shakes? I received about three boxes for free "to help manage my diabetes", my last A1C was a while back, almost a year and it was 6.5, I am average weight but I would like to lose at least 5 more kilos and if possible 10 kilograms just to keep on the low side of average weight.
I am really worried about using it, I am not sure why, I have never used supplements to help me lose weight, and I seem to be doing fine, but, It would be nice to boost the weight loss.. and I can't afford a low carb at this point (both me and my husband are moving jobs due to COVID) so financially, I would appreciate the low carb meal replacement for free. but I tried it today with a scoop of peanut butter (the vanilla taste was horrible) and an apple, it curbs my desire to eat, but I feel like I have got no energy at all, not sure if I should keep using it (I know you shouldn't use it more than a couple of times a week though)
anyone using Glucerna? what are your thoughts? do you replace meals with it, or do you use it as a snack?
I am type 2 btw
