I believe there's better ways to get nutrition...
More evidence that low GI and "slow release carbohydrates" are BS for many Type 2s. I tried this stuff a few years back - ended up taking the can back to the pharmacy and complained about the BG spikes it gave me. Suitable for diabetics - I don't think so!
Glucerna Nutrition says Total Carbs 16gms, and Added Sugar 4gms, so 20gms in total. Some might have a higher spike, even the 14gms of carb in a slice of toast will make my BG spike more than that.
