- Whelks,winkles... All crustaceous seafood except prawns. Can't do crab.lobster or scallops.
Don't like the way they are killed and cooked. Save our Scallops. SOS !!!

I have been using my Glucomen LX+ since mid June and have been very happy with it.
I have tried 3 different meters and this was the first one that arrived and I like the lancing device mainly and Glucomen customer service is 2nd to none.
Should you wish to ring them to order a free meter the phone number is 0800 243 667.
I realised I could somehow download my results and rang them and they said they would send me the cable required and I would also have to download the software from the Glucomen website.

This is the page with the PC and Mac downloads. If you click on the 'software' button which runs along the top of the home page,you will find there are downloads for mobile devices,bluetooth and Lite (whatever that is)
Anyway,cable arrived this morning. Downloaded the software and put my details in on the downloadable doo dah and put my serial number in and it kept coming up with 'Meter not found'.
I tried 3 times and ended up ringing Glucomen and I was instructed to go into my control panel,find driver devices and altered the ports thingy and it now works !!
All my readings since I acquired the machine are there for me to see and higher numbers are displayed in red so you can see when your readings go up.
This is a very handy download that I assume all the meters have the facility to do.
If anyone else has a Glucomen meter and the cable and they can't get it to work properly either ring Glucomen or PM me and I will give you my phone number and I will talk you through it.
