I've only been diagnosed since September 2016 as type 2 and still feel newly diagnosed. I was put onto Glucophage SR & Dapagliflozine tablets from the start. My side effects currently include : urticaria, and low iron and Vitamin B12 levels. Blood Glucose levels however are good- is there any type 2 medication with less baggage than Metformin and dapagliflizine (I feel like the "old woman who swallowed a fly", with so many drugs being fed to me to counter-act the side effects) ?
