Hi can any body help please I in the uk female 67. In November I had some bloods done, I had one cup of tea no sugar, I didn't know I was having plasma glucose done it came back at 6.9mmol, I got a printout from the doctors it said ok I had a number of other bloods done I am b12 defeciant everthing came back ok,I was reading on another forum on Saturday and a lady said hers was 6.0mmol candy came back abnormal and to see her doctor, this got me thinking, I am speaking to doctor in morning the receptionist said everything was ok then, am I right to worry a little or not,
 
Hi. A reading of 6.9 mmol from a finger-prick test (or fasting test) is in the OK region so you should have nothing to worry about unless you have other symptoms
