Not true. The Libre has the same bolus calculator as the Insulinx (and uses the same unlock code). it only allows you to do calculations from the blood tests though.
 
I have never had many issues getting the strips I use.
I go through a box of 50 around once a week, might last me longer sometimes and less some other times.
Hope you got it all sorted out @wiserkurtious

Thanks for that info, looked on the Libre website but that wasn't made clear. May be making a request of my GP practice soon :)

Don't understand why you're explaining anything to the receptionist, she is unable to write you a prescription only the GP can do that I suggest you make an appt to see him and explain how many times you test and that you need more strips
