Glucose testing meters

i have two glucose meters one a wave sense jazz & one a contour next they are giving different readings done at the same time this morning the jazz was 8 & contour 7.7 I have done a control on both & that was ok can anyone explain the difference please .

You will never get the same reading even at the same time on different meters it will always vary from meter to meter and no meter is100% accurate that's why it is better just to stick to one

..... and even on the same meter two readings taken at the same time can yield different results. Very frustrating I know!

The 8 on the jazz & 7.7 on the contour are pretty **** close!
