i am new diagnose to dt2. im on sitagliptine/metformin 50/1000 and empazin 20 in the morning.

today i stop empazin because i want to be on low carb diet. and get to laboratory to test my blood and urine. it came out that my fasting glucose is 144mg/dl. but i have glucose in urine(++).

does it actually make sense that 144mg/dl cause glucosuria because i read sauce that glucose need to be over 180mg/dl to get glucosuria? (i actually off empazin today.)

another question is, last 7 days my triglyceride is over 500. now it is 200. but my ldl went up to over 200mg/dl and my hdl went down. is it good on keto diet?

Empagliflozin lowers your blood glucose by making you pee out the excess sugar, so it makes perfect sense to have a reasonable blood glucose but glucose in your urine.
Have you discussed stopping your medication with your consultant?
