Gluten Free Diet affect T1D?

I have had a number of changes lately with my body and have been trying to look for information on how I can deal with things. I just recently came across a site that said gluten can affect T1D and blood sugars. Has anyone had an experience with this ,or is anyone on a gluten free diet and if so, how has it changed your type 1 diabetes?

It is hard to sepearate "gluten free", "grain free" and "low carb". There also also people who benfit from "reduced gluten" without having to go completely "gluten free".

I know of two people (from the Diabetes Unpacked Book) who the doctores say have Type1, but by going "very low carb" and "grain free" and "gluten free" no longer needs to use inslin. But remember more people have walked on the moon!
