Hi all I have posted a few times about my fear of glyclozide and my blood sugars being 100.
My morning reads were between 12-15, despite me losing 2 stone, walking, dance classes , low carb etc etc

I have finally given in and taken x 2 tablets over 2 days and this morning I couldn’t believe my eyes my reading was 8!
Already !

So fast I’m amazed! I guess il have to just be careful I dont go to low.

Feeling quite happy to be honest.

Just wanted to share

That's great news. Just a question do you mean your HBAC1 was 100?

How long have you been a T2?

That was a brave and fortuitous move. Well done. Keep an eye on the possibility of going low, and keep some carby snacks in a drawer somewhere in case. But my experience with it has been very benign. I found that I went from 106 down to the 40's and dropped my glic from 4*80mg to 1* 40mg now. I get the occasional low when I drink too much whisky on top, but nothing frightening. Have a Good Day.

I did! I got my Bluetooth working with my new mojo's, so I am having a celebratory nightcap.

similar to your situation my BG with just metformine was usually 10-13 mmol/l. I started with Forxiga and wham overnight went down into the 6s. Occasionally it goes into the 5s if I don’t overeat the night before, albeit low carb. It makes you feel euphoric doesn’t it!?
