I have read quite a few posts on the forum over the last year but I haven't seen any reference to McArdle disease. So my question is this, I have type 2 diabetes but I was also born with McArdle Disease (Glycogen storage disease type 5), does any one else suffer from this condition? NB: People born with AGSD 5 can't use the sugar (glycogen) stored in their muscles.
