I use an old medicine pot with a child proof screw on lid, holds about five days used needles. Fits in my everyday pouch I carry my pens and meter in.

Hi Jackie.

Welcome to the forum!

I suppose you could use something like an old test strip pot, then decant to the "sharps bin" when you get home?

I never take a large sharps bin with me anywhere - it lives in my study and stays there until it is full.
When I go away, I take any pot or bottle with a lid. Depending on how long I go away, this could be a plastic water bottle (for a fortnight) or a test strip tub (overnight) or a small shampoo bottle like Body Shop used to have (for a weekend).
And then, as others have said, I decant into my sharps bin when I get home. It is one of those chores like emptying your laundry when you get home.

hi jaylee thanks for the wRm welcome

yeah sounds good might give it a try

No problem! Just ask any question you like! There are countless recepticals that could be used to keep sharps safe whilst traveling.
Another that comes to mind, is one of those little Tupperware nibble boxes..?

Enjoy your weekend.

Hi jackiew welcome to the forum if you're worried about disposal of used needles you can get a needle clip device on prescription not sure if they still do this? It's a device that you place the needle onto a hole and it cuts needle off only a thought good luck and have a nice time.
