going for Chinese meal - help?

What would your usual fasting level be? To be honest, the 10 seems a bit toppy to me.

Well, the op said it was 9.2 yesterday, and has been diagnosed for 4 weeks, so I still think it's looking ok.

It was 9.0 in September, 9.2 October (both according to signature), then 10 today. Unless I missed something, we don't know what the 9.0 and 9.2 mean, when they were measured and whether by finger prick or venous blood.

No matter. I'm not here for a row.

Thank you for that. I clearly hadn't read that thread.

I'm not sure I'm being touchy at all, but you are correct I hadn't garnered the information in the other thread. A 10 is still toppy, but if testing is a new regime, then it's early days.

But I'm sure we all agree, the op had a good night, the figure is as close as yesterday's meter (with the tolerance of the meter) and the figure will be coming down if they keep their eye on the ball, as they are doing, and incorporating eating out isn't hard, and indeed should be part of the routine.
Particularly for a newbie, their effort is going to pay off well, and they've hit the ground running.
