It's going to be in the low 20's but the jet stream changes and so we can expect some rain showers towards end of the week. Not been outside at all today - don't like the heat anymore. x
 
I know this is lame, but I'm off to my beddies, peeps.....
I was awake until around 3am this morning - I've no idea why, just couldn't sleep - so that and today's hot weather have finished me off!
Plus, I have an impacted wisdom tooth which is giving me some grief today. It's never broken through the gum, but it hurts like hell today, and I have a nasty suspicious that it may be brewing an abscess in the hinge of my jaw. Can you get an abscess in a tooth which has never appeared?
Anyway, I feel the need to slope off to my burrow and feel sorry for myself tonight.
I hope you all have a very dull evening without me! Only kidding.....

Typical about rain next week, though - my son and his family are coming down from Nottingham for the weekend.
 
I'm the same William my two "boys" hubby and no 1 son went for an hour long walk this afternoon, I stayed inside and sheltered from the sun. I had red hair when I was younger I called it Chestnut but it was red! and I have the pale skin which goes with it. Also I turn a very unappealing shade of beetroot when I exercise in the sun. It was only 20 deg here today but hotter forecast for tomorrow @liam1955
 
@13lizanne - Anna, I don't like Winter as it is too cold, I don't like Summer as it is too hot. I do however, like Spring and Autumn. R rang me at 7pm to say Son held up in traffic congestion on the A1. He better come home this evening because we have to leave at 9.30am for a 11am appointment. Our Street joins onto the A64 approach to York City and it is queued all the way into the city. Anyway, I have made his evening meal (Salad) and I know he will have eaten rubbish such as Pizza, Crisps, Jaffa cakes and chocolate, chocolate and chocolate whilst at his Daughters. Anybody would think his arms are broken - he just won't cook!!!!
 
My favourite season is Autumn and I prefer Winter to Spring and Summer. I wonder if our preferences have anything to do with when we are born, my birthday is in November. I do hope that R gets home soon, he will take you to your appointment @liam1955 William, come what may. I'll be thinking of you at the Liver Specialist tomorrow at 11am. @eldergarth has an appointment at hospital tomorrow too, good luck with that Ron. All the best to anyone who is undergoing tests or who are unwell just now
 
@debrasue - You need to get that seen to, if its an Abscess and it bursts you'll have it searing through your system and it won't be very nice. Go see your GP and/or Dentist and hopefully get Antibiotics. Have a good night's sleep. We promise not to have FUN ( fingers crossed)!!!!!

Yes you can get an abscess.

I won't go into detail but it happened to my brother-in-law and he needed concentrated radical treatment, so please please get it looked at as a matter of urgency.


Diagnosed 13/4/16: T2, no meds, HbA1c 53, FBG 12.6, Trigs 3.6, HDL .75, LDL 4.0, BP 169/95, 13st 8lbs, waist 34" (2012 - 17st 7lbs, w 42").

2/6/16: FBG AV 4.6, Trigs 1.5, HDL 2.0, LDL 3.0, BP 120/72, 11st 11lbs, waist 30" (2012 - 17st 7lbs, w 42").

Regime: 20g LCHF, run 1 mile daily, weekly fasting.

5/6/16: Two BP readings now 112/64 & 112/66

Hello Everyone. Thank you for thinking of me @13lizanne and @liam1955 . I love the poppies. I've just been outside with the hose pipe doing a liquid feed on the garden and it is the best part of the day. The sun has been shining but there has been a very cold wind off the sea which has now dropped. I hope everyone is well and happy.
 
Did I mention I have an iPad by the bed, William?!!!
I was going to wish you luck for tomorrow - now I'm not so sure!

I have one of those but great dishwasher and hooverer.
I do everything else. He's just discovered the washer/dryer but I hide the whites, oh and reds. Ha ha

Feeling a bit better now @debrasue . Still some pain and nasal discharge but it is improving. Patience is required, I think I'm over the worst - thanks.
